Is Los Cabos Safe? Travel & Wedding Operations Update – February 27, 2026
As of today, Friday February 27, 2026, Los Cabos remains safe and fully operational for travel, tourism, and destination weddings.
I’m a local resident with family living here in Cabo, and my partner is from the U.S. and also lives here. Daily life continues normally. Events are taking place, yacht charters are running, restaurants are open, and the hospitality sector is operating as usual. Last night I was downtown for dinner at Sage followed by drinks — the environment was calm and active.
Recent security situations reported in other destinations such as Cancun or Puerto Vallarta are not connected to Los Cabos and have not impacted tourism operations here.
Hotels, wedding venues, transportation providers, and event teams are continuing services without disruption. Flights are arriving as scheduled and all destination wedding logistics are proceeding as planned.
Los Cabos remains one of Mexico’s most secure tourism corridors, with strong coordination between local authorities and the hospitality industry.
We continue monitoring updates closely. At this time, all travel plans, events, and destination weddings in Los Cabos remain unaffected.
